Owner / Managing Partner/ Grower
Roger is the managing partner of the vineyard and winery operations. He has over 30 years of viticultural experince growing wine grapes in the Columbia Valley. In 2003 Roger was awarded Grower of the year by WA Association of Winegrape Growers (WAWGG). In 2013 he was awarded the Industry Service award by WAWGG. Currently is a board member of the Washington Wine Industry Foundation.
Since 1982 Bob has worked alongside his brother Roger in planting the first winegrape blocks to building the winery from the ground up. As dedicated General Manager from 1998 to 2014, he has been commitmented to the quality of wine produced. As of January 2015, Bob retired to enjoy many hobbies such as; riding his motorcycle, golfing, fly fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Jessica, Roger's daughter, joined the family winery in January 2015. She has worked in many aspects of the wine industry since 2006. Everything from launching new wineries to working in cellars. She is a WSU graduate with a B.A. in Business Administration and B.S in Psychology. Jessica also completed the WSU Enology Certificate program in 2011.
Charlie Hoppes joined Gamache Vintners as consulting winemaker in 1998. He has extensive winemaking experience in Washington State and is commited to producing the best possible wines from the elite vineyard blocks sourced for Gamache Vintners.
Guest Services Specialist
Dana Payne is a WSU Alumni and has a passion for travel and wine. She is dedicated to providing the best customer service to Gamache Vintner's Wine Club and can help with any needed recommendations when in the area.
Office Assistant & Tasting Room Associate
Sarah has worked at Gamache Vintners for over two years in the accounting department and been the helpful hands during many events at the winery. You can find her behind the scenes preparing wine orders and will see her friendly smile on the weekends in the tasting room.
Tasting Room Manager
Max Murrey is a Central Washington University Alumni with a B.S. in Global Wine Studies. Upon graduation, Max traveled around the world working with wineries in New Zealand, Walla Walla and the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Max aims to deliver a great tasting room experience and to make sure Gamache Vintner’s wine club members and guests are taken care of. Max lives by the acronym JETS, which stands for just enjoy the stuff!
